MindGym believes that achieving peak performance goes beyond game day. Just as athletes train with strength and conditioning coaches to build physical power, agility, and endurance, we serve as the psychological equivalent—a “mind gym” designed to enhance mental resilience, focus, and preparedness.

  • Here, we are discussing the difference between mental performance and mental health. Mental performance consultants work alongside performers to address performance-related concerns. Sports psychologists and licensed mental health providers work to address clinical mental health concerns. An individual’s mental health and mental performance may or may not be correlated. For instance, a performer may need support coaching, but they do not have a clinical mental health concern. Thus, they would benefit from mental performance coaching. If mental health concerns are present, then collaboration or referral to a licensed mental health provider would be required.

MindGym does NOT provide mental health services. We are not meant to replace mental health or medical treatment. We strictly work within the realm of mental performance consulting and must refer individuals with mental health concerns to a licensed psychologist or counselor in a collaborative effort to provide the best, holistic care for our clients.
